The platform is designed for scalability and offers comprehensive data processing solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing enterprise infrastructure. The company is now ready to expand their reach by making their product available on AWS Marketplace – this is where you come in as the key technical lead for this strategic initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

AWS Marketplace Launch & Product Packaging

  • Lead the end-to-end process of bringing the AI/ML data platform to AWS Marketplace
  • Design and implement AWS Marketplace-compliant product packaging, including AMI creation, container images, and SaaS integration
  • Develop CloudFormation templates and deployment automation for marketplace distribution
  • Ensure compliance with AWS Marketplace technical requirements, security standards, and listing guidelines
  • Coordinate with AWS Marketplace team for product onboarding, testing, and go-live processes

Container Orchestration & Kubernetes

  • Design, deploy, and maintain production-grade EKS clusters with high availability and security
  • Implement Kubernetes best practices including resource management, networking, and security policies
  • Create and maintain Helm charts for application deployments and manage chart repositories
  • Troubleshoot complex Kubernetes issues and optimize cluster performance

Infrastructure as Code & GitOps

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Implement GitOps workflows for automated deployments and infrastructure management
  • Design CI/CD pipelines that integrate with AWS services and Kubernetes deployments
  • Ensure infrastructure versioning, rollback capabilities, and disaster recovery procedures

Platform Operations & Monitoring

  • Monitor platform performance, availability, and security across all environments
  • Implement comprehensive logging and monitoring solutions using AWS native tools
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure optimal application performance
  • Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and operational procedures

Note: This role does not require 24/7 on-call support responsibilities

Required Technical Skills

AWS Expertise (5-7+ years required)

  • Expert-level AWS knowledge with hands-on experience across compute, storage, networking, and security services
  • Proven experience with AWS Marketplace including product listing, AMI creation, and marketplace compliance
  • Deep understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework principles
  • Experience with AWS cost optimization and billing management

Container & Orchestration (3-5 years required)

  • Strong Kubernetes/EKS experience including cluster design, management, and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with Helm for package management and application deployment
  • Experience with container security, networking, and storage solutions
  • Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio/Envoy) is a plus

Infrastructure as Code & GitOps

  • Advanced Terraform skills for multi-environment infrastructure management
  • CloudFormation expertise for AWS-native infrastructure deployment
  • GitOps implementation experience using tools like ArgoCD, Flux, or similar
  • Experience with git-based workflows and branching strategies

Additional Technical Requirements

  • Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)
  • Knowledge of database technologies (RDS, DynamoDB, Redis)
  • Understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, load balancers, CDN)
  • Experience with security best practices and compliance frameworks

Experience & Qualifications

Professional Experience

  • 5-7+ years of AWS cloud engineering experience in production environments
  • 3-5 years of Kubernetes/container orchestration experience
  • Mandatory: Previous experience placing and managing products on AWS Marketplace
  • Experience working with AI/ML platforms or data-intensive applications
  • Track record of managing large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure

Soft Skills & Work Style

  • Strong English communication skills (B2/C1 level) for international team collaboration
  • Self-directed work ability with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in agile development environments
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
